Transforming lives

Children on the Edge is a child rights organisation that works hand-in-hand with communities to support some of the world’s most marginalised children, in some of the toughest situations.

We work with refugee children in Bangladesh, Uganda and Lebanon, with displaced children in Myanmar, and with slum dwelling children in India.

Working alongside local communities, we help transform the lives of marginalised children by co-creating protective, nurturing spaces where they can safely live, play, learn, and grow.

With your help, we want to see a world in which every child thrives - regardless of their geography, ethnicity, gender or caste.

Children on the Edge was born out of The Body Shop and founded by the late Dame Anita Roddick in 1990. The Body Shop has been passionately supporting Children on the Edge ever since, raising over £3 million for our work with vulnerable children.
